The Meeting Tree
The Meeting Tree was originally designed and built to fulfill a need for an instructional area on the Boardwalk at Beidler Forest. People of all ages have paused underneath the majestic Meeting Tree to learn more about Francis Beidler Forest and the Four Holes Swamp.
However, the Meeting Tree has evolved into much more than that. A place to reflect, a place to come together and rejoice, a place to inspire...that is what the Meeting Tree has come to mean to all who find themselves there.
The Meeting Tree has built-in benches that can comfortably seat forty people. There is also space available to place additional chairs on the boardwalk.
WEDDINGS - Taking your vows under the soaring majesty of the trees of Beidler Forest lends a magical feel to your special day. Let nature provide the setting and let the sounds of the Forest be your wedding march. For a beautiful wedding in a natural setting that you and your guests will always remember and cherish, consider The Meeting Tree. The Outdoor Classroom
This screened in facility is the result of a cooperative effort between the staff and students of the Dorchester County Career School, Beidler Forest's generous donors and the staff at Francis Beidler Forest. Dedicated to the idea of teaching children about nature in a natural setting, the Classroom provides room for experiments and hands on learning.
The Outdoor Classroom is designed to seat over fifty. Eight picnic tables provide seating and the perfect place to hold your next meeting or luncheon. Ceiling fans, lights and running water are available and a storage area may be used for catering purposes.
The Classroom is nestled among trees and places you right on the edge of the swamp. You never know which curious inhabitant of the Forest you may get a glimpse of!

Conference Room
Our conference room has tables and seating for 25 people with access to a nearby kitchen for refreshment setup. The room is equipped with a television, VCR player, DVD player, and digital projector in addition to a view through the floor-to-ceiling windows.
